Don't want to mess with finance?
You can set distinct notes inside 1stream that don't rely on the finance status in ConnectWise by using the ConnectWise Company Notes feature instead.
How to set a Finance Note
- Open the System > Setup Tables > Company Status portion of ConnectWise
- Select the status you want to make a note on, or make a new status
- Set the Notification Message as shown below
- Go to Finance > Company Finance
- Search and open the company you're working on
- Ensure their Status is set to the one you adjusted
Display in 1stream
Finance notes will automatically display in 1stream as shown in the image below. To remove a Finance Note, you must either change the company status to one without the note, or remove the note from the company status in the setup tables.
