- In the Add the Calls to Numbers with a Length of field, add in a value based on the length of the phone numbers that are dialed.
- In this example we're using Cuba, which has a length of 8, but adding country code makes it 10
- In this example, the rule should be positioned ABOVE any basic 10D rule in the United States, and may conflict with some area codes.
- Scroll down to the Make Outbound Calls On section.
- In the Route 1 drop-down, select the SIP Trunk that the rule should be applied to.
- Click the Save button.
Still can't call the country?
If the international outbound call rule is still not allowing users to dial out, consider adding a value of '00' to the Calls to Numbers Starting with Prefix field. Additionally, if you have added a plus sign to the Calls to Numbers Starting with Prefix field or Prepend field, consider removing it in order for calls to function.
Ensure you've also enabled international calling at your trunk provider. SIPTrunk.com partners can follow Enabling SIPTrunk.com International Calling Plans to do so.
Lastly, some North American countries have additional security rules setup in Call Flow > Outbound Rules to prevent high risk/high cost calls inside the North American Number Plan countries. Double check those bvoip security rules to see if the country you're allowing is listed in there.
